Big Day Paper
Terms of Service
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Big Day Paper. We've kept them short and plain. Please read them before you order.
Who we are
Big Day Paper is run by Vanilla Entertainment Inc., a company incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States. When these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean Vanilla Entertainment Inc.

Who can order
You must be 18 or older to order. If you order for a family or a couple, you confirm you're allowed to share the details you give us.
What we make
We make personalised newspapers for life's big days, such as weddings and memorials. You answer questions about your people and your day. We write the stories and lay them out as a real-looking newspaper. You get print-ready files, and, when you choose them, printed copies.
How it works
- You answer the questions. It's free.
- You see a free watermarked preview of your front page before you pay.
- You pay. Then we write the rest of your paper.
- You read every page and approve it.
- We release your final files. If you ordered printed copies, we send your paper to print.
Nothing is final until you approve it.
How we write your paper
We write your paper with the help of an AI writing tool built for one job: newspaper writing. It writes only from what you tell us. It can still get things wrong. That's why you read and approve every page before anything is final. Your paper is a keepsake, not a news report. Its facts are the ones you gave us.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send you. There's no password. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay. Your payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. You agree to give accurate billing details.
Your words and photos
Your stories, names, messages and photos stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to make, deliver, store and support your paper, and to keep our service safe. If you include details or photos of other people, you confirm you're allowed to share them with us.
Words you paste or upload
Some questions let you paste or upload words that someone else wrote, such as a poem, a reading, a song lyric or a remembrance. You confirm you have permission to print anything you paste or upload. We may remove anything we think we can't print, and we'll tell you if we do.
What we won't print
We won't print anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, unlawful, or untrue in a way that could harm someone. We won't print private details about a person that you aren't allowed to share. We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these rules. If we cancel before your files are delivered, we refund you in full.
Your paper and our designs
Once you've paid and approved, your paper is yours to print and share for personal use: as many copies as you like for your event, your family and your guests. You may not sell it. Our name, website, newspaper templates, page designs, samples and software belong to us.
We keep your paper private
We never show your paper, your words or your photos to anyone else, or use them in our marketing, unless you tell us yes in writing. Memorial papers are never used in our marketing.
Printed copies
When we offer printed copies, we print your approved paper and ship it to the address you give us. Delivery dates are estimates, so please order early. If a copy arrives with a printing defect or damaged in transit, email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we'll reprint it free. We can't change printed copies once they've gone to print.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy explains when we refund and how we fix mistakes. In short: you see your front page before you pay, you approve every page before you get your files, and once your files are delivered we don't refund. If we made a mistake, we fix it free.
Keeping your paper
We keep your paper, photos and stories while your account exists, so you can download or reprint later. Ask us and we'll delete them. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to get every paper right, but our service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Fair use
Please don't misuse the site, try to break it, or use it to hurt anyone. If someone makes a claim against us because of content you gave us, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.
Closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere that gives you consumer rights we can't override, such as the EU or the UK, those rights still apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Orders you've already placed follow the terms you agreed to when you paid.
